Phoenix Online Radio Terms and Conditions
for new DJ's / Presenters
In accordance with the Legal law (UK) requirements for Internet based radio stations
Phoenix Online Radio must inform you of the following restrictions in order for us to comply with the terms as set out herein and MUST be abided by without exception. Failure to do so will result in Termination of your position as a DJ/presenter for Phoenix Online Radio.
During your broadcast at any time period there are to be:
(1) There is to be no illicit content, foul language: obscenities with sexual reference: racist, slanderous or defamatory remarks either in your choice of track or via the microphone, before the 9pm (UK) watershed without prior permission being sought from Phoenix Online Radio’s management team. Please remember Phoenix Online Radio broadcasts to an audience of all ages and in accordance this MUST be respected at all times.
(2) Repetitive mentioning of URL's, Websites, Organisations and Groups is classed as Advertising and therefore restricted to two mentions in any one slot, unless prior approved by the Management team of Phoenix Online Radio
(3) There is to be NO Personalisation of the Phoenix Online Radio Service.
(4) All DJ's are required to give notice of at least 1 hour if there are unable to broadcast at an allocated time slot so appropriate cover can be found, Failure to do so will result in a strike Penalty. Phoenix Online Radio operates a 3 strike rule miss 3 slots without giving sufficient notice and you will be removed from Phoenix Online Radio without further notice. Should the need arise during your time with that you need to change your allocated time slot to a different time than agreed, Please contact a member of Phoenix Online Radio’s Management team who will be happy to assist you in doing this. A member of Phoenix Online Radio’s management team MUST confirm any time changes BEFORE any changes take place.
Breaking any of these Terms and Conditions will result in instant removal from the Phoenix Online Radio Site as a DJ/Presenter. Phoenix Online Radio reserves the right to change the terms, conditions and notices under which it offers the P.O.R website and it's facilities.
Please Note: It is phoenixonlineradio.co.uk that is the licensed body to broadcast, whilst presenting on P.O.R you are covered by this Licence.
Any other work you do away from Phoenix Online Radio does not constitute Phoenix Online Radio's licence and maybe Unlicensed and therefore illegal.
Additional terms set by Phoenix Online Radio’s Management Team.
Phoenix Online Radio reserve the right to terminate this agreement, or suspend/terminate your access to the P.O.R. website at anytime, with or without cause, & with or without notice. If you are suspended or your account is terminated, your right to use Phoenix Online Radio’s website or servers will cease immediately. Upon suspension or termination any details/images or information you have stored MUST be deleted forthwith.
In Addition...
Jingles/Idents for phoenixonlineradio.co.uk are the sole property of Phoenix Online Radio, They are not to be sold or edited in any way nor are they to be copied. The use of these Jingles/Idents is for Phoenix Online Radio only and thus you are subject to copyright law when they are used, use on anything other than Phoenix Online Radio without the express written permission from Phoenix Online Radio's owner is Strictly prohibited.
If any Presenter/DJ on Phoenix Online Radio wishes to include these Jingles/Idents in his/her personal compilation/mix that will not only promote him/her self but also phoenixonlineRadio.co.uk He/She Must first ask permission from the managers of Phoenix Online Radio who will then contact the owner of Phoenix Online Radio to whom the Jingles/Idents are the property of.
The Phoenix Online Radio Jingles/Idents are to be used in a professional manner whilst presenting on Phoenix Online Radio. Should you wish to terminate your position with Phoenix Online Radio you will delete and remove plus destroy any backups of these Jingles/Idents that you have made or hold.
If you agree to the Terms and Conditions as set out above Please start and/or continue to DJ/Present on the Phoenix Online Radio website and stream. Your consent to continue to broadcast using our services constitutes as your signature to the Terms and Conditions set out herein.
The Terms and Conditions are not negotiable and MUST be adhered to at ALL times whilst performing any kind of presentation or broadcast for Phoenix Online Radio regardless to whether or not the type or work be paid or unpaid.
If you do not agree to the terms set out above please stop ALL broadcasts immediately and discontinue use of the Phoenix Online Radio Website and broadcast stream. Please then contact a member of the Phoenix Online Radio’s management team, who will arrange for your removal from the Phoenix Online Radio website and all personal information to be deleted from our systems.
This Agreement is between Phoenix Online Radio and you (the DJ / Presenter). All disputes arising out of or relating to the use of the P.O.R Website will be adjudicated under the laws of England and Wales.
You and Phoenix Online Radio agree that any legal action related to or arising from the use of the P.O.R Website must commence within THREE Months after the cause occurs, other wise no action is permitted and the cause of action will be permanently barred.
